Here is the most recent decent picture of me.

Yes, that's me caught "red-handed" at a show in 1997. Trying to hold three wiggly Aby kittens at once is quite a trick! From left to right are: *RW SGC Leotie's Simoon, Leotie's Dragon Whelp (both cinnamon females), and GRC Leotie's Ball Lightning, cinnamon male.
Besides showing and breeding Abyssinians, I also like to research their pedigrees. I can trace most of my cats 10 to 20+ generations, back to the British foundation registry cats. I am always interested in seeing pedigrees from other lines, and am willing to help other Aby owners trace their cat's ancestry.
Most of my cats have been Abyssinians, but I have had some dearly loved "freeloaders" of other, or unknown breeds. My first cats were a pair of black littermates, Tybalt and Fred. Another favorite from the past was Billie, a seal lynx point. Oats, a blue and white British Shorthair, and Pinkie, a smoke tortie Cornish Rex, were both great cats, decidedly different in personality from the Abys! Right now my pets are Little Guy, a cinnamon Abyssinian, and Captain Black, a black rescue cat.
Other than my involvement with cats, I enjoy reading, mostly science fiction and mysteries. Among my favorite authors are Anne McCaffrey, Lois McMaster Bujold, George R.R. Martin and Dick Francis. I also played the collectable card game Magic: the Gathering ® for many years, and have named several of my cats after some of the cards.
