Silver Abyssinians

Abyshaw Iridium of Leotie
cinnamon silver female

Silver Abyssinians are still quite rare in the United States, but more breeders are working with the silver gene. My silver breedings began with the first silver pair in the midwest, Sterlingsilver Oneida Michelangelo, cinnamon silver, and Sterlingsilver Secret Garden, blue silver. The color was recognized for championship competition in TICA as of May 1, 2002. The color is more popular with breeders in Australia, Europe, and England. The silvers that I had were decended from Danish and Finnish lines. I've noticed that the silver Abys I produced are a bit larger than the more familiar shades, but the personality and type is all Aby!
